From a young age, Aisha found herself inclined towards the world of fashion as she watched her grandmother, who was a seamstress and became inspired by her. After seeing the beautiful and vibrant garments that her grandmother created, she named her label after her.
Born in 2008 in Accra, Ghana, the fashion brand Christie Brown is the brainchild of Aisha Ayens. From creating mini collections for her dolls with shreds of leftover material when she was young, Aisha has grown into creating beautiful apparels for the strong African woman through Christie Brown. The brand was launched with a powerful runway show and had been growing powerfully ever since.
Today, Christie Brown is set apart from other fashion labels because of its uniqueness and originality, giving confidence and class to the women who wear its apparel. It stands strong as a manufacturer and retailer of accessories too, bold and one-of-a-kind. The pieces range from exquisite tailor-made dresses and gorgeous gowns to ready-to-wear accessories that speak louder than words.
